Hellenic Championship - DAY 6

Day 6, though incomplete, was played yesterday with the most important game being at DAIS Sports Center between Doukas and Minotavros.  The Dukes prevailed 7-3 with Gritzalis scoring 3 goals to lead the home team to their 4 straight win.  For Minotavros this was the 4th loss of the season making it their slowest start in years.

In other action Gipaetoi led by new coach Nikos Petritsis continue their great start in the league with another win at Iniohos 2-4.  The Portuguese Fumes led in scoring with 2 goals while Gonsalves and Rotsa tallied one each.  Iniohos suffers their 2nd straight loss after a perfect start.  Olympiada got stuck in a 2-2 tie against the improved Neo Ikonio at home.  The home team could not penetrate the tight defense of the guests and had to wait to the 18th min to get their tying goal by captain Thomas Panou.  Ilioupoli came away with an important win at Aeas Pallinis 3-5 with captain Panagiotis Kassis scoring 3 goals to lead his squad to victory.  Aris Virona bounced back from their frustrating loss to Ikonio last week, and got three important points against Kosmos VP with the final score at 7-3.  The youngter Kostantinou continues his good performances with 2 goals for the home team.  Athina 90 and Yperion conclude the games of Day 6 on Dec. 4.
