Athina 90 is the new Hellenic Cup winner. In the final game, the team from Politeia conquered the trophy after 2 failed attempts in the past 2 years, beating Doukas 4-1. Ilias Bousmbouras was the key player in the game scoring and assisting in the game, and proving how important he is for the team. Doukas battled all through the game but was not solid enough in defence and got scored quite easily.

Athina 90 and Doukas will be the two battling it out for this year's champion. After an adventurous play-offs procedure, the two have won their semifinal matches and will now play it out on Monday and Tuesday.
Athina 90 after conquering the Cup will look for the double. The current champions overcame Olympiada A.P. in both matches and made it through to the final. First match was a 5-7 win, and second match was a clean 4-0. Athina 90 remains unbeaten all through the year.
On the other side Doukas bounced back from their devastating loss in last week's Cup final and got a 2-5 win on Wednesday and a 15-0 win on Thursday to make it to the final with ease.
The two teams will meet for the fourth time this year, all matches were won by Athina 90 up to now.

The Play-offs of the Hellenic Championship have been postponed indefinitely due to the pending objections of Gypaetoi and Ilioupoli. The two teams have requested from the federation to decide upon the validity of the foreign players that played in game 1. The federation seems to be unable to examine and decide upon the matter, and the completion of the championship is being threatened. For the record Ilioupoli won the first game 4-3 and is leading 1-0. The games have come to a holt as Athina 90, Olympiada, and Doukas await the series to end in order to continue with the play-offs. Due to the trip of the National team to Libya this week the matter has been put on hold, yet teams have yet to receive any news regarding the continuance. Another dark period seems to be dawning in Hellenic futsal, as there seems to be no real interest by the governing bodies to come to a solution. In addition the Cup final between Athina 90 and Doukas is still to be played with the date being originally set for the 5th of July.
